After listening to the input from many of the host locations we have made some adjustments to the Athletes in Action Super Bowl Breakfast outreach.
We have been asked to shorten the broadcast of the event to a 45-60 minute showing so that it does not get too long for those watching across the nation. This year we will be editing the event down to the key moments such as the Bart Starr Award presentation along with the keynote speaker and gospel presentation. We will also have some interviews from the Super Bowl Media Day.
Many of the locations have asked that it be shown via the Internet which will make it more accessible to them. We have found a partner who can provide “on demand” viewing of the Breakfast so that churches can show it any day or time. Because of switching from satellite to the Web, the NFL will not allow us to use licensed footage on the Web.
Due to the editing of the event we will NOT be able to show it live on Saturday morning. But you can begin showing the modified event as early as 6 p.m. on Saturday.
